Courses to Become a Restaurant Manager
Students can opt for a Hotel Management degree after completing their 12th standard from any institute in India. The study of hotel management has equal emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge. Students spend 6 months in the industry for their IT (Industrial Training), which is almost mandatory.
To become a restaurant manager, one should select the Food & Beverage Service department of the hotel.
Career after Completion of Hotel Management Degree
In the department of Food and Beverage Service, one can start as an Associate, move to Supervisor, then Restaurant Manager, and finally Food & Beverage Manager, who usually looks after multiple cuisine restaurants.
