    Certificate in Food Preparation

    The Program extends over a period of One Year.

    This program offers opportunities to the students to gain an academic qualification whilst undertaking the tasks required to perform their jobs. The students will be able to link theoretical knowledge to what and why they do things in their working day.

    The program facilitates learning of all food skills needed when they start their career as a professional. The program consists of building blocks developed to take them step-by-step through the food techniques and skills. This in turn helps them make a great career in the hospitality industry.

    Eligibility for admission:

    The applicant should have passed Secondary or Higher Secondary Examinations from State or Central Board or equivalence from a recognized Board.

    Program Content

    The program is both vocational & modular. Rigorous kitchen practical, classroom interaction along with element of unsupervised self learning establishes a strong foundation of knowledge and skills amongst the students.

    • Program:
      • Designed and developed under the academic supervision of The Hotelschool The Hague, The Netherlands
      • Develops culinary skills through Practical in Kitchen
      • Evaluation of Modules are conducted in two stages, Continuous and Final.
        • Continuous Assessment is carried out in Kitchen during the Practical
        • Final Assessment is through Examination, which is conducted at the end of the Academic Year. These are subjective in nature assessing individual’s learning outcome on the modules.
